Have a say on the CBD playground

GLENORCHY City Council is inviting community members to provide comments and suggestions on the proposed playground for the Glenorchy CBD.

Council sought feedback from the public in 2016 on the project to revitalise the Glenorchy CBD, with the presented plans including a playground to be constructed on the lawns in front of the Council Chambers.

The purpose of the project is to make the central business district more exciting and useful, as well as encourage families with small children to spend longer in the area.

Concept plans/images are available to view in the Council foyer throughout November.

To complete a survey, open until 30 November, visit www.gcc.tas.gov.au or contact Council’s customer service team on 6216 6800.
