GLENORCHY Carols – A Not So Silent Night is on once again and is set to be a fantastic evening of Christmas music, fun activities and entertainment for the whole family.

A host of talented performers including choirs, dancers and bands are already warming up in preparation for a fun-filled festive evening.

This year’s event will feature sing-alongs to all your Christmas favourites, as well as fun dance numbers to get the crowd moving.

There will be food stalls to cater for all tastebuds, a parenting tent and free shuttle buses leaving from Glenorchy Bus Mall to take guests to and from the event.

Glenorchy Carols will be held at Tolosa Park on Saturday 7 December.

Gates open at 5.30pm with free family activities from 6pm, including dance workshops and the YMCA Holiday Village – two tents filled with free hands-on activities for the whole family.

Santa is expected at around 9pm, and the carols are due to finish at 9.20pm.

Keep an eye out for more details on this great family Christmas event in the coming weeks.

For more information about the evening and any inquiries about the free buses to and from the event, email carols@gcc.tas.gov.au or phone 6216 6800.
