THE annual Northern Suburbs Photography Prize is once again gearing up with entries now open.

Now in its fourth year, the Prize highlights the spirit and diversity in our community.

This year’s theme – ‘Life Is For Living’ – is about engaging in our community, looking out for others and importantly, living life to its fullest potential.

The Prize is hosted by Labor Member for Elwick Josh Willie MLC.

“The Northern Suburbs Photography Prize is always a highlight of the year for me,” he said.

“I thoroughly enjoy looking through all the entries and interpretations of the theme.”

The Prize is open to all residents living within the Glenorchy municipality.

Prizes are awarded in junior and open categories and are decided by the 2018 first place winners.

A People’s Choice Award is voted by the public.

“Whether you are a keen photographer or have a memory stored on your phone, I encourage you to enter,” Mr Willie said.
