MOONAH Arts Centre’s (MAC) much-loved annual exhibition ‘The Glenorchy Open’ is returning in 2020 and this time it’s joined by a new event, ‘The Glenorchy Open Mic’.

MAC is calling out for artists and performers to participate in both events.

To be eligible to enter, artists and performers must live, work or volunteer in the City of Glenorchy.

Whether you are a professional, a student, or you just like to dabble, MAC wants to showcase your art.

The Glenorchy Open Mic is a new event that will form part of MAC’s annual Friday Night Live concert series.

MAC is calling for musicians, stand-up comedians, soloists, spoken word poets and other performers to be part of the show.

The Glenorchy Open Mic will take place on Friday 6 March 2020.

Applications to be part of both shows open on Thursday 5 December.

The Glenorchy municipality includes Austins Ferry, Granton, Claremont, Chigwell, Glenlusk, Berriedale, Rosetta, Montrose, Collinsvale, Glenorchy, Goodwood, Derwent Park, Dowsing Point, Moonah, West Moonah and Lutana.

It’s free to enter the Glenorchy Open art exhibition and the Glenorchy Open Mic.

Apply online at www.moonahartscentre.org.au or visit MAC to collect a hard copy entry form.
