Bunnings brings Christmas cheer

THE Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) Paediatric Ward was on the receiving end of some much needed cheer recently when Bunnings Warehouse Glenorchy team members dropped by for a visit.

Accompanied by Santa, the team distributed small gifts to each of the ward’s young patients, making each child’s stay a little brighter.

“The RHH is extremely fortunate to have the ongoing support of Bunnings and their staff through our annual Christmas and Easter visits to the children’s wards,” Jo Attrill, from the RHH community relations unit, said.

“These visits lift the children and their families’ spirits and provide a welcome distraction from the routine of ward life.”

Bunning Warehouse Glenorchy said they were always pleased to help with hands on projects and initiatives that benefited the wider community.
