BOWEN Road Primary School is set to undergo a $1.4 million upgrade to provide a new kindergarten with two flexible learning areas.
Minister for Education and Training Jeremy Rockliff said the upgrades would help students develop a life-long love of learning from a young age.
“The upgrade includes significant improvements to the entrance area, which will improve disabled access and provide upgrades to external play areas,” he said.
“Quality early years education is a key factor in lifting educational outcomes, which is why the Hodgman majority Liberal Government is investing more than $15 million in upgrades to early learning facilities and brand new kindergartens around the state.”
Morrison & Breytenbach Architects has been commissioned to oversee this project that will deliver important improvements.
