Add colour to your life with Yulki’s

AS the skies grow darker and the winter chill sets in, it can be hard to find those pops of colours that improve our moods.

However, owner of Yulki’s Home Décor, Julie-Ann Bigava, says by adding a dash of coloured fabric to your home, you can feel happier and brighter.

The self-proclaimed “Scandinavian fabric aficionado” runs an online fabric store and curtain and blind-making business that specialises in Nordic brands including Marimekko, Spira and Klippan, all of which are known for their beautiful and vivid designs.

Ms Bigava said she launched the e-store to provide Tasmanians with access to beautiful fabric without the need to visit “one of the big cities.”

“I am also a big supporter of local talent, such as the lovely artists from Ink and Spindle,” she said.

“So whether you are in need of high-quality fabric or would like me to sew you an item, there really is something for everyone Yulki’s.

“Have a peek, as you might find something you like – we can even do backorders on fabrics.”
