A very Glenview Christmas

By Glenview Community Services

CHRISTMAS time, that special time of year when you stomach seems continuously stuffed, work becomes a foggy memory of the past and the sun finally returns from its winter long hibernation.

For those who might be doing it a little tough this holiday season, Glenview is proud to once again act as a collection point for the ABC Giving Tree.

Although it may be hard to forget presents under the tree, prawns on the barbecue and pavlova in the sun, it’s important not to forget Christmas can be a particularly lonely time of year for many Tasmanians.

Spare a thought for the people who won’t be surrounded by loved ones and think about how you might include them in the Christmas cheer this year.

It might be a friendly chat or even just a smile, no act is too small to make a difference.

All donations to the ABC Giving Tree are welcome, just drop in with your gift and we will handle the rest.

On Friday 8 December, we will be hosting a special morning tea to hand over all your wonderful gifts to our favourite nightly newsreader Peter Gee.
